UNDERGROUND DRILLER LOOKING TO MOVE INTO OPEN CUT?

Programmed Energy & Resources are currently seeking Drillers for a long-term FIFO opportunity with Western Australia’s largest magnetite operations in the Pilbara.

This is an excellent opportunity for Underground, RC or Diamond Drillers wanting to transition into large-scale open cut production mining.

With one of the longest mine lives in Western Australia, this is not a short-term project or shutdown role — we are looking for operators wanting ongoing, stable FIFO work with genuine long-term opportunity.

What’s on offer:

• $61.65 (Days) / $65.02 (Nights)
• 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth
• Balanced Roster: 1 Week Days / 1 Week Nights / 7 days off
• 12-hour shifts
• Weekly pay + super paid on all hours
• Camp, meals, PPE and flights provided
• Long-term ongoing role with genuine stability
• Gain hands on experience with SKF15, DI650i and Epiroc D65 drills
• Join a large-scale production Drill & Blast team

We welcome applicants with experience in:
• Underground drilling
• Blast hole drilling
• RC drilling
• Diamond drilling

Previous open cut production experience is advantageous but NOT essential.

About the role:
You’ll be joining a high-performing Drill & Blast team on one of WA’s largest mining operations. Successful candidates will operate production drills and assist with drill support duties as required.

What we’re looking for:

• HR Driver’s Licence
• Strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work in remote FIFO conditions
• Must be clean shaven to successfully undergo a site-required mask fit test
• DGSC (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• National Police Clearance
• Full Australian working rights

If you’re looking to get out of underground, secure long-term FIFO work and build your open cut mining experience, apply now.
